Show Sets and Show Collars
The collar size quoted is for the leather/webbing length only - it does not include the chain.
For most items the chain adds 10cm (4"). For small cord show sets (8, 9, 10") the chain adds 7.5cm (3")
How to measure your dog
Measurement 1: Measure around your dog's neck at where you want the collar to be when the dog is showing. This is how big the collar needs to be when the chain is closed.
Measurement 2: Add 4” to Measurement 1 (or 3" for the small cord show sets). This is how big the collar will be when the chain is open.
Check that Measurement 2 will go over the dog’s head. If not, you will need a larger size
